Q: Help! Brightness all the way down and no cursor during Windows 10 install?

It's an iMac, but I solved it. I found my cursor after a bit, and just held up my phone's flashlight to the screen and went through the installation steps. Was incredibly annoying though, also got stuck on the bootcamp drivers install and had to turn it off and back on.

I continued having trouble in Windows, so I just completely uninstalled it from my Mac. I'm going to give it another shot in a few days, but before I do, does anyone know why the brightness for it was all the way down, and how I can prevent it from happening with my next install?

Yes, I have the 27-inch iMac late 2013. Once I was actually booted into the Windows home screen, it worked, but I messed up with the drivers install and the settings while doing it. Just need this brightness thing fixed for next time I do it.

I did both, and just did it again, and after partitioning the disk to the space needed for Windows, it did the same thing. Rebooted to the Windows window that has you select the language you want and some other stuff, and the whole screen is black. Held up my flashlight, and it's there, but extremely hard to see. Any idea on what to do?

I did. I got it to work, though.

I just turned off my computer at the black screen, it booted back into my Mac OS, restored the disk to normal, then tried it again, but I was trying to get 501 Gb of data for use on the Windows side the 2 times I did it, so I tried 449 GB instead this time, and had no problems. Thanks for the help.
