I have Windows 10 (64bit) - Itunes 12.3.3.17 cant see media library

I have Windows 10 (64bit) - I just updated to Itunes 12.3.3.17 - I always dread these updates. All seemed to go well but itunes cant see media library. In preferences I have confirmed that the file location is correct and that my content is still in tact in the folder that it has always been ( C:\Users\UserName\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media) but itunes MUSIC only shows a handful of tracks, and NO content for MOVIES, AUDIOBOOKS, BOOKS or APPS - only MY PODCASTS are showing content as it should.

Can anyone provide a solution, fix or reach around? Thanks

iPod touch, iOS 6

I am used to a Mac but as far as I know on neither platform does changing location of media folder get iTunes to "recognize" existing old media. It simply tell iTunes to put any new media there. For old media iTunes relies completely upon the information in the .itl file being correct and this can sometimes be corrupted during updates.
