Game is too big for screen - Help

I have a game (FM2012) that has somehow become too big for my screen? I have tried the zoom function by tapping on the screen and via settings but this has no effect whatsoever. The problem occurred when I transferred my old iPad mini (stolen from my car) to a new iPad mini 3 via the back up from my Mac. All the other apps and games are fine apart from the game in question. I have tied uninstalling/re-installing, every zoom procedure published on the net and in forums and I'm at a loss as to how to get the game back o the correct size so that it is playable. Help!!!
