CleanMyMac 3 Check for updates disappears

Personally, I recommend that you uninstall CleanMyMac3. Basically it is a worthless scam on the Mac. It is capable of corrupting the data and system on your disk drive.

There is no accumulated filth for this program to clean. The Mac takes care of itself, and any "cleaning" this junk ware does is likely to throw away important components required by Mac OS X.

The best upgrade for this program is its complete removal.

Uninstall CleanMyMac. It is doing you no good and may be causing problems.

CleanMyMac likely "cleaned" the files necessary to run the update manager routine.
