Q: Come on Apple solve this issue, links don't work and crushes on ios

iphone 6s 128gb started to have the same problem. Upgraded to ios 9.3 still the same.  Like many did I tried all the sensible things to overcome the problem. Nothing worked so far.

It doesn't make sense to go back to factory settings and then restore, seeing the number of people having the same problem, it is obviously an issue Apple should address the problem.

Apple knows that the update is screwed up and they are working on a fix. You might be able to get some help here with the Safari links issue.

I Don't necessarily agree with this statement. If you backup regularly like you should and should have done right before updating, and if you restore the device to factory settings, and then restore the backup - and if it solves the problem, what doesn't make sense about that?

Even in the best of times when the overwhelming majority of people update without issues, a small precentage of users will have problems and restoring can fix those problems for them

It doesn't make sense to go back to factory settings and then restore. Because who has the time to waste. If a software works on so many hundreds of millions of devices you want them to be more proactive and test the releases better.

I understand that small percentage of users would have problems, however this time it is not a small percentage with this issue, considering so many thousands of messages in the discussions forums.

It looks like in post Steve Jobs period, things aren't as good in Apple.

    Hello antiphellus,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

From your question, I understand that hyperlinks are not behaving as expected after updating to iOS 9.3. We know how frustrating situations like this can be and we want to make sure your devices are working as expected.

iOS 9.3.1 was recently released. Performing this update should resolve this situation.

If hyperlinks don't open in Safari, Mail, or Messages after updating to iOS 9.3 - Apple Support

    Cheers!

    Hello Joe_7399

I have just upgraded to 9.3.1 and it seems like the problem is over now. It was quite annoying not to be able to use the links for news, business emails etc. for we have become so dependent on our gadgets:)

    Thank you,
