Smart (silent) alarm for Apple Watch
Hi,
I'm looking for something similar functionality as Jawbone Up. Is it possible to use Apple Watch to track you sleep cycle and wake up you with vibration at the best time.
Thanks.
iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

Apple should have released this since day one J, I have submitted a feature request for this also. For something that costs three times more expensive than a fitbit that does this so easily, it is a shame it does not offer this simple feature. Hope to see this soon.

Hi George
Although Apple Watch does not presently offer sleep tracking via a built-in app, various third-party apps offer this capability (using either the built-in sensors or third-party accessories). Some such apps include time-optimised alarm features.
Apps and third-party accessories that you may wish to consider include:
Withings Aura Smart Sleep System
Sleep++ (uses Apple Watch)
Sleep Pulse 2 Motion (uses Apple Watch)
Beddit Sleep Tracker
S+ by ResMed Sleep Monitor
If you would like to suggest that Apple considers adding sleep tracking as a built-in feature of Apple Watch - coupled with alarms that are optimised based on sleep cycles - you can do so here:
