Locked notes with password and hint (to help you remember your password) can be unlocked with password only with no indication of your hint.

Are you saying you want it to show the hint every time? I think it only shows the hint when you enter the wrong password. Or are you saying it won't show the hint even when you enter the wrong password?
It may take repeated tries before the hint prompt comes up.
