What happened to the iPad 2 32 GB?

The iPad Air 2 does not have a 32gB model, only 16, 64, or 128gB.

At the Apple event last week (Monday 3/21), the iPad Pro 9.7" was introduced, and it has storage options of 32, 128, and 256 GB of RAM. The iPad Air 2 now comes with 16 GB or 64 GB of RAM (the 32 GB model was eliminated), and the price on the 16 GB model was dropped to $399. Model lines change.

You could get an iPad Air 2 with 64 GB of RAM, and it's probably the same price as it was previously when it had 32 GB of RAM. Bonus 🙂

That model is indeed a 32gB. I assume you purchased it in the past week? It appears Apple has added the 32Gb model and stopped marketing the 16gB and 64gB models.

Yes. During the iPhone/Apple Watch announcement, Apple doubled the storage capacity for the iPad Mini and iPad Air lines.
