Q: Update and requesting password - hope not a phishing scam on iphone

Today, I received an update request for my Iphone6 software on my iphone. It is asking for password. Will there ever be a time, it will be phishing. Do I need to worry about things like that on Iphones?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.2

    No, you don't have to worry about anything on the iPhone. Unless you have jailbroken your device, there is no virus or malware that can infect your iPhone.

     

    It is perfectly normal for the iPhone to request for your passcode when updating.
