Which version of final cut studio can install on the OS 10.11,3?

    Final Cut Studio 3 (containing FCP 7) was discontinued 5 years ago. The last OS that supported it was 10.6.8.  Although you could install it with little to no issues up to 10.9.5.  But 10.10 and 10.11 require tricks to install...and even then, MOTION and COMPRESSOR no longer work, CInema Tools is iffy, and FCP 7 won't be fully compatible.

     

    The only version that 10.11 really, fully supports is FCP-X.
