Q: Mac mini no display
I Bought a preowned mini mac late 2014 in mint condition but don't know the past history but looking at it just seems it had been well looked after before buying I checked if it was under warranty On apple's side and it still does have warrenty and the prewoned shop gave a 12 week warranty too and i was happy and bought it so yeah got home hooked everything up and running up smooth but still wasn't happy at the fact the Mac was under someone name and user and hdd had a lot of files which wasn't mine so I wanted to make a fresh installation of Yosemite or mountain lion so I downloaded yosemite and restored into a usb and booted it from the usb and I had to format the partition in disk utility and my os was gone that's part of the process of installing a clean os X and I was going with it until it said I have damaged dmg image so I had no option but to make another yosemite usb on Windows i done it but that's when my problem started because when I put my yosemite usb into my Mac and turned it on and pressed option button but as I don't have a official Apple keyboard I have a windows keyboard so for option key I have to press down atl and it went through it didnt show up my usb only a recovery thingy came on but it took a unsual timing to show up but after I turned it off and turned it back on and the display didn't work it says no signal at all ive tried different screens and hdmi cables but nothing can someone help me and save me a trip the Apple Store.
