Does the iPod work OK?
If it does not appear in iTunes:
If you don‘t see your connected device in iTunes for Mac
Or
First:
iTunes: Fix iPhone or iPod Not Detected in Windows 10
next try
iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows
- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later
- New cable and different USB port

Mar 28, 2016 8:36 AMby ebreakfield001,No the ipod does not appear on itunes. I clicked the link but it tells me to say "trust this computer". That option never shows up. It's the "allow the device to access photos and videos". But never "trust this computer".
Yes. My ipod does show up in My Computer so I know at least that is working properly.
My ipod seems to be doing fine rather than one issue.
