Q: how to turn off find my iphone when phone is locked

My grandson put in a code and he dont remember it and my pad is locked. When I try to restore It wants me to disable find my iphone, how can I do this when my phone is locked

iPad 2, iOS 9.2

You need to remove your the device your trying to restore from the Find iPhone app at www.icloud.com using the Apple ID credentials that the device is tied to.
