Shift +  T  is not a programmed keyboard shortcut in Word 2011.

I have no problem here using Shift + T.

I don't think it is a Microsoft  Word problem.

Happened that too when you use Pages?

May using another keyboard ?

I do not have that issue using Word 2011, 14.6.2

In addition to suggestion by Templeton Peck to use MS Forum and also Raicyamake sure you have not inadvertently created a macro with that combination.
