Behringer x-touch compact

Hello. Just bought a Behringer X-Touch Compact and for the life of me, I can't get Logic to recognize it. I'm on a 2009 Mac Pro running 10.11.3 and Logic Pro 10.2.2. I have booted the Behringer in MC mode. I've tried different cables and ports and while AudioMidi Set-up and Logic both see the X-Touch's midi ports, it never shows up as a Control Surface. I have trashed Logic's preferences (including the .cs file). I've plugged my computer keyboard into the Behringer's USB Port and was able to rename tracks in Logic so the unit is connected, they're just refusing to talk to each other...

I've even tried using a different startup disk with Logic Pro 10.2.and Mountain Lion installed but that did not work either. I've run out of troubleshooting ideas. Anyone have suggestions?
