Apple tv4 airplay buffers fine but does not play/start

i just upgraded my apple tv4 to ios 9.2. After upgrade, airplay from my iphone 6s plus (ios 9.3) is not working. When i airplay any clip from safari onto my apple tv, i see the clip is buffering fine on tv but it just does not start despite i hit play on remote and on iphone !!!!! .. some clips are 10-30 mins long. They get buffered completely but apple tv wont play/start them despite i hit play on remote ???

i have factory restored apple tv thinking that might be issue but still same.

Apple TV (4th generation), iOS 9.2

No luck. Had to restore old ios 9.1 on atv4

download ios 9.1 from ipsw.me

Connect atv to pc or mac using usb-C cable.

Using itunes, restore atv to old ios.

In itunes, hold down shift key and click restore. Window will open, select the file downloaded from ipsw.me

Did you upgrade to ios 9.2.2?

Is the issue resolved after upgrade?

Hi. The issue is not resolved, but there is a fix. After it starts buffering, briefly turn AirPlay off and back on at the phone. You may also need to hit Play after. I have to do this for almost every video I AirPlay.

Too bad.. Its very annoying .. I downgraded to 9.1 since then .. I think only ios 10 will fix this.. Thank you for prompt reaponse
