Q: Change Apple ID from me to my daughter and get the OS X updates

My daughter has overtaken my old MacBook Pro.

I updated the OS X to Yosemite at that time using my Apple ID.

When I now tried to update the OS X on her machine it would not allow me to do so using her Apple ID.

I had to use mine!!

This makes it very difficult with automatic OS X updates.

Is there a way to solve this?

The only way I know is to erase the drive and reinstall the OS using her AppleID using Internet Recovery: OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support

If you back it up first using Time Machine, you can then Migrate her user account during the Startup routine after installing.

Thank you for your very fast response Barney-15E

However this is a really big job to do.

The correct OS X is installed on the MBP, it is linked to the HW, all I want is to change the Apple ID to the new owner.

Is there not a parameter in the system I can update with the new information?

all I want is to change the Apple ID to the new owner.

As I already stated, I don't believe that is possible.

Purchases (regardless of cost) on an AppleID cannot be transferred.

OS X updates do not require an Apple ID.  App updates from the App Store do.  Those are permanently tied to the original Apple ID that installed (or accepted) them.  You would need to delete those and redownload them on the desired Apple ID.  This may require buying them.  I'm guessing you're trying to update apps, not OS X.  Reinstalling OS X from recovery will require an Apple ID with that version of OS X tied to it (unless it's what the computer came with).  Installing OS X from Internet Recovery will not require an Apple ID.
