I'm in China most of the year, my banking is in the USA. I know some retailers accept Apple Pay in China. Must I have and use a Chinese Bank Card, or can I still use my American Bank Card/Credit Card with Apple Pay in China? If so, are their any additional fees (exchage transaction, etc)?

I have the same question and can bind both my US and Chinese cards to apple pay, but only the Chinese cards seem to work in China. I will have to wait until next time I go to Shanghai or Beijing to test again, because to be fair here in Fuzhou the American cards don't work either only Chinese cards work at local retailers, but I could use the cards in the larger cities.
Only your bank can tell you what fees are involved and confirm that their card can be used while abroad. I know that US Apple Pay users were able to use contactless points in the UK ahead of the official Apple Pay launch here so I suspect you'll be able to use your US cards while in China.

Hi , very pleasure to answer your question. In China, you can use Apple Pay , but only China Union Card can be added in to your Apple Pay Wallet.
