iOS 9.3 wifi connectivity issues

My 6S worked great on 9.1.2, but since updating to 9.3, the Internet (wifi) cuts out every 30 seconds, and since I don't allow cellular data to be used, I wind up offline about 16 hours a day because of this OS. My phone is offline 16 hours a day... Because of this update...

Thanks...

OH yeah, I have tried forgetting the network and rejoining (doing a hard reset inbetween), and had no luck at all. No other wifi device in our house is having these issues and we have PLENTY of speed and a very strong wifi signal...

Hru, whatdoyaknow... I had to hit send 6 times and shut the wifi off and back on before my phone would connect again and send this stupid message.

Well at least I'm not alone... =oP

But I never had this issue with my iPhone 5 (which I've had for 3 years before upgrading to the 6S a couple weeks ago) or iPhone 2 (which I also had for years). Same address, same internet provider. This is the first time I've really had issues with an Apple device connecting to my wifi. It is... very, very frustrating.

Anyway, I hope they get this all sorted out soon...

General suggestions for Wi-Fi issues, maybe one of them will help....

1) Perform a Forced Restart: Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Allow device to restart.

2) Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Rejoin the Network again.

3) Change to Google's DNS: Settings > Wi-Fi > Click on the Network, Delete all numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or alternatively 8.8.4.4

4) Disable the QoS service on the router if available.

5) Reboot Router/Modem: Unplug from power for 2 minutes and plug again. Update Router Firmware (check manufacturer’s support website). Verify your router is Wi-Fi certified.

6) Determine if other Wi-Fi devices on network are working well (other iOS devices, Macs, PCs).

7) Try device at another Network, i.e., neighbors’, public coffee house, etc.

8) Restore the Device (ask for additional for details if desired).

9) Go to an Apple Store for hardware evaluation.

Well, I did respond, but my phone dropped it's connection and lost it all.

Anyway... my daughter has been experiencing the same issues on her phone since updating to 9.3 two days ago.

I've done every single thing on that list. Changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, just reverts back to it's original numbers when it reconnects to the router. I've rebooted both phones multiple times, restored them both twice, forgot the network, rejoined the network...

Every other device in our home connects perfectly. NO ISSUES WHAT-SO-EVER. Not on our FireStick, not on my PC, not our laptops, not our other iPhones running iOS 9.2.1 or 7.1.2... they all connect to the router without exception.

Nothing on that list has fixed this issue with our phones.

It's a 9.3 issue and it looks like Apple is going to refuse to acknowledge it. Which means we're screwed, just like we have been with GameCenter for the last year.

Sorry to hear that.

Did you try #7: Try the device at another Network, i.e., neighbors’, public coffee house, etc.

If not, try them there. If they connect ok then it is likely a router/phone conflict. I have seen many of wi-fi conflicts before in this forum, some caused by the phone or iOS and some caused by the router. If your two devices connect ok with another network I would suggest trying a different router at home to test.
