That's the point. You have to use 2-factor authentfication to fix it.

This link will not work unless two factor authentication is turned on. Otherwise the Generate Password... option is not visible.

Likely somebody in marketing figured that instead of making stuff people want to buy you can annoy them into an all Mac product setup by doing dumb stuff like this.

Yea, but except I'm still dealing with the same error message, and I HAVE two-factor authentication already enabled, and it has not resolved the problem.
