Q: i bought an itunes card that was 20 dollars i reedeemed it but it said i only have 9.31 how can that be?

I bought a 20 dollar iTunes card. I redeemed it but it said I only had 9.31 left. How can that be?

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.2.1

Either the balance didn't properly update(log out and back in), or you need to ask the iTunes Store staff.

If you had a balance due in your account, it would have been deducted from the gift card before any credit card you have linked to the account.

If you believe there was an error, contact Apple iTunes Support and choose the Account & Billing section.
