i downloaded iOS 9.3 on my iPad 2 everything was previously working now i have no 3 g anyone have an answer

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake button simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
Faced the same issue. solved it by removing and reinserting the SIM Card. However, after restarting the iPad 2, it shows No Service again.
I do, however, noticed that after the latest update for iPad 2 to iOS 9.3 (13E236), the "Mobile Data Number" has become "Unknown".
