My mac book freezes after El Caption update

Hi bossman5665, I might be having the same exact issue you are. I wish I actually knew a solution, but maybe this discussion can get the ball rolling. Would you mind being a little more specific about your issue? Does your Macbook freeze while booting up, or after you've logged in? A few articles on the internet mention bugs in the latest El Capitan update, so it may be an issue for a massive number of people.

Same problem. After recent update loading bar on startup stuck and MBP turns off by itself.

What happens when you try to boot into the recovery partition (COMMAND + R) or Internet recovery (OPTION + COMMAND + R)? You need a solid Internet connection for the latter.
