Q: What if you updated to IOS 9.3 and your device is stuck on activation mode but cannot recover apple id and password that you used to set up your device?

I updated to the newest update (IOS 9.3) where it has Night Shift & Password Protect for notes, but my ipod touch 5g (an older device) got stuck on activation mode and it is asking me for the Apple ID and password that was used to set up this IPod. The Apple ID listed is disabled, and i cannot reset the password. Please help? I am also trying to delete everything after, so this doesn't happen again.

There has been a release of a fix for most devices today
