Unfortunately, that's a common problem.
Try disabling JavaScript under Settings - Safari - Advanced.

Mar 29, 2016 9:34 AM in response to thunderzzzby KilleerK,No I could not connect to my mac me account which would not let me connect to the internet . Resolved this by turning off VPN by accident . Once that was done I could connect to my mac.com account and set up the rest of the iPad.
