Deleting a podcast and resubscribing brings the episode list up to date.

Mar 29, 2016 6:20 PM in response to BillD in Renoby bbfrodo,Hey BillD, I think you mean unsubscribe and resubscribe. That did the trick for me. It's a pain to do it for every podcast though, but it seems to work.

Mar 29, 2016 7:11 PM in response to bbfrodoby BillD in Reno,★HelpfulNo, I meant delete, but that may have been overkill. Apple Tech Support suggested going to iTunes > Preferences > Store and UNchecking the box for "Sync podcast subscriptions and settings." Sounds strange, but it worked. If you leave the box checked, you can refresh the podcast lists after signing out of iTunes. Seriously. I tested it on two Macs and a Windows 10 virtual machine.
Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem.

Thanks for posting the fix. Strange that works, but whatever. -
Mar 30, 2016 11:00 AM in response to dkeller719by BillD in Reno,Apple fixed the problem overnight. It's OK to go back and check the box for "Podcast subscriptions and settings."

Mar 30, 2016 2:51 PM in response to BillD in Renoby WCMan,The problem still exists on my Mac/iTunes. Your fix of unchecking "Sync podcast subscriptions and settings" worked. When I checked that setting again podcast refresh stopped working. Rebooted and still wouldn't work with that setting checked.
Why do I keep updating iTunes? Every other iTunes update breaks something. When I get a stable version I need to stop updating.

Mar 30, 2016 5:56 PM in response to WCManby BillD in Reno,Wild guess, but maybe Apple's fix is taking a while to propagate throughout their servers. Maybe it has to be applied account by account. That would take a while.
iTunes on both my Macs and the Windows virtual machine are back to normal with the box checked, and they're all tied to one account.
