cannot bootcamp windows 10 on OS X version 10.9.5

I tried to install windows 10 using bootcamp but i could not do so when i downloaded the windows 10 iso from Microsoft and put it into bootcamp i got the following " Boot Camp only supports Windows 7 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for Windows 7 or later installation"



my mac is a Macbook pro Retina display, 15 inch and its the early 2013 version


could anyone please help me?

1. Download W10 installer from Microsoft which is 64-bit to a USB. Do not use a mixed 32-bit/64-bit installer.

2. Use OSX Disk Utility to create a Free Space partition. Do not use FAT/exFAT.

3. Boot from the W10 installer using Alt/Option key while powering up your Mac.

4. Select EFI Boot (not Windows) and point it to the Free Space part and let the Installer split it into a MSR (128MB) and MSD (Remainder of Free Space) and install W10.

5. Once W10 is installed, you may have to download BC6 drivers manually using Brigadier - https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier .
