Q: Will iPad Air 2 Work as Primary Computer? How?

Hello,

my computer needs are very basic - emails, Internet, watching YouTube, simple word docs and basic spreadsheets (household budget). but I do need to be able scan various documents and upload these to externally (to accountant's office, government departments etc. i have a wireless Brother laser printer that scans.

my question is, can I accomplish my computing needs with just an iPad Air 2 And my existing printer without the need to buy a separate PC or laptop?

any advice or thoughts offered would be much appreciated. I'm technically quite challenged
