Q: Amazon Movie App, Please.

I get that Amazon Movie App is a direct competitor to Itunes, but I can download it on  my Ipad and Iphone. Any other reason why it is not available for my Apple TV? If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can stream movies and TV shows for no additional cost. Apple Itunes doesn't offer this. My old Sony media play had Amazon, so when I up-graded to the Apple TV, I assumed that I could add the app. WRONG!  Can you please add the app.

    apple don't make the apps

     

    third party developers would likely violate amazons intellectual properties if they tried to make an app which would access their streaming service

     

    apple would not be likely to block amazon from adding an app at least they added a lot of other direct and indirect competitors apps in app store

    also apps which would be able to display illegal copies of media on the appletv

     

    so I believe that your post should be posted in some sort of amazon forum.
