Q: iCal - Right TZ, Right event times, wrong time shown
Hi All,
Need some help if possible please.
I am struggling to get my iCal working correctly after the summertime change recently.
Steps taken:-
Go into iCal Prefs and set 'Turn on TZ Support'
Select :- London - United Kingdom and that sets it to British Summer Time.. All good so far.
Events in my Cal are showing correct time, but the actual time bar is an hour too fast, (At time of writing the time is 16:07 BST), time bar on the cal says 17:07.
If I set the TZ to GMT, I get the correct time but my events are all an hour out.
So, checking my system clock, I go in and set the time manually to the correct time (which it is). The TZ is correct, BST and my current location in the UK. I then set to automatically using my current location and the same.
I do not sync with iCloud so that isn't an issue and my iPhone is actually showing my cal events and time correctly.
Any ideas and thanks?

Just two thoughts.
1. Set "Time Zone" automatically...and/or...
2. Go to iCloud.com, login, select Calendar, click on (Gear Icon)>Preferences...>Advanced>Time Zone, and see if that setting has any effect.
