Q: I have lost my ipod touch

Follow this guide, and read the part about reporting the Serial Number to local Law Enforcement.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

Try the following steps:

1. Go to iCloud.com on a computer.
2. Sign in with your Apple Id.
3. Open find my iPhone.
4. Click on “show devices using find my iPhone.”
5. If your iPod is not listed their, remove your iPod from your account as soon as possible.

Here is how you can do that:

1. Open iTunes on your computer.
2. Click on your account name.
3. When the dialogue box appears click “account info.”
4. Type in your password.
5. On your account page, scroll down until you see “manage devices.”
6. Look for your iPod touch in the device list.
7. Click “remove.”
8. You might want to report to the local police.
9. Also contact Apple as soon as possible.

well, I know of a way of wiping the iPod but it needs to be in your hands so thats not possible but I think i can figure it out, if you donate have if you can give me a couple of minutes

He or she shouldnt be able too

If the iPod does not have a screen-lock passcode they can still read the Messages already received on the device if the PW is changed.
