HI Mickey,
Check File > New File from Template Chooser to see if your version of Pages offers any card templates. This one started out as a two up 'single fold' card on US letter in landscape orientation.
The template included three pages. Page 1 was the outside, Page 2 the inside, and the third was a blank page. Only Page 1 was included in the initial document.
I started by inserting an Inside page, containing two of the large text box shown below.
Back on Page 1, I selected one image and flipped it vertically then horizontally, then repeated that procedure with the Text Box containing "Thank You".
I realigned the two objects, then moved both to the inside page, placing the pair in the upper left corner.
On the inside page, I removed the text from the box on the left, and replaced it with "Inside Left," a label to mark the position of this section in the final card.
I added a text box, entered "Back," flipped it vertically then horizontally, and dragged it to the position shown.
Save the result as a template.
Using the same document, I went File > Page Setup, and changed orientation from Landscape to Portrait.
Drag the blue guides to the positions shown, then reshape the elements to fit the new space.
Save the result as a template (with a different name than the version saved above).
Regards,
Barry
PS: Done using Pages '09.

It's just a piece of paper.
Open an example, or sketch one up, unfold it and do what you see.
