I just got a new wifi modem and Apple Airport is now blinking orange light instead of steady green.

I just purchased a new wifi modem and don't know how to get my Apple Air to connect to it. The Apple Air is blinking yellow/orange light and I think it should be solid green.

when you purchase a new modem router .. everything in the network is going to need to be reconfigured.

The Apple Air(port??) should be set to client mode..

Follow these instructions.

I am assuming you have an Express. And that you are using wireless..

Both assumptions could be wrong.. But you didn't tell us..

What Airport you own??

How it was connected in the past and how you need it connected now?

The best way to do things is to plug the airport WAN port into the new router with ethernet.. far superior to any other method.
