Q: Submitting an RSS feed to itunes, but I keep getting a message saying "Can’t submit your feed. There is no description tag in your feed, or the description tag is empty." Any advice on how to fix this?

I went in and tweaked your feed slightly.

Please try resubmitting your feed now.

Glad to have helped and sorry about the issues.

Sometimes iTunes is a little picky on the feed being submitted when there are a lot of episodes.  I went to Advanced settings under your Libsyn Classic Feed destination and turned on Plain Text - this removes html content from your descriptions.  After your show is approved - you can turn that back off - by going to

Destinations --> Libsyn Classic Feed  - EDIT --> Then scroll down to Advanced settings.

Again please wait until your show is approved before making any changes.

I am having the same issue with my podcast...can someone help?

The description you see in the iTunes Store is taken from the 'itunes:summary' tag in the top section of the feed (before the first 'item' tag). Yours is empty, though you have both that and the 'itunes:subtitle' tags with content in the episode sections.

You need to write a description into that tag so that it appears on the Store page: I can't advise on how you do that with Podomatic but there must presumably be a place you can enter the text.

This was the most useful comment I had found it in here. Thanks for the little note on "write a description" It helped a lot.
