IPhone 6s external speakers

I would like to use my iPhone 6s for map directions but the phone speaker is just not loud enough. Is there powered speaker available that I could use? Does it connect through Bluetooth? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you can also connect any external speaker to the 3.5mm minijack connector in the phone and it will play out of those
