Q: Safari 9.1 not loading some sites - Chrome working fine

This morning, Safari is not loading many websites, yet Google Chome on the same Mac is completely unaffected.

Some of the sites I'm having problems with: http://www.imdb.comhttp://www.eurogamer.net/ and http://www.apple.com/ (!!).  Other sites like http://www.google.com and http://www.amazon.com are causing no problems.

Things I've tried:

  1. Uninstalled Ad Blocker Extension
  2. Removed com.apple.Safari.plist
  3. Disabled DNS Prefetch (http://www.webnots.com/fix-safari-slow-loading-pages-mac-os-x/)
  4. Cleared Safari's cache and history
  5. Checked IPv6 settings (they're on Link Local already)
  6. Disabled plugins in Safari

And, yes, I have cleared Google Chrome's cache and restarted it...  and cannot reproduce the problems I'm having with Safari.

Any suggestions?

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 4GHz Intel i7, 32GB RAM, 3TB Fusion
