My phone was stolen and my partner removed my phone from our account before I got the serial number for the police report. Would Apple still have it on file?
Just need to find serial number of stolen iPhone that used to be on my account.

FYI, if it was 'removed' from Find my iPhone, your partner basically just gave it away to the thief. Had it not been removed, Activation Lock would have rendered it useless.
if it was ever synced to iTunes on a computer then it show up as a tool tip with the backup

If your partner removed the iphone from the icloud account and not from your apple id account you can still find the serial number and the IMEI of your device.
Yes, you can. Just follow these steps:
Note: You have to login with the apple id which the device is linked to.
Thanks for the quick replies. We did lock it down before it was removed. Got the serial number. Regards to all!
Your carrier would have the IMEI on file as well.

Yes, but removing it from the iCloud account essentially unlocks it. So the thief now has a working phone with no restrictions on it.
