I Recently dropped my iPad Air 2, How do I check if it's fully functional?

If everything works OK, then it is fully functional. Only you can tell if it is working properly. There is no self diagnostic test that you can do for hardware issues. An Apple Store or an AASP would have to check the device for hardware issues.

Are you using the iPad to power and run a fan? If that's correct, it's not designed to do that and I can't imagine that it is recommended. I really can't envision how this is working but at the very least you are drawing power from the iPad battery and would be getting less life out of the battery.
