How to delete booking.com app?

my iphone 6s just updated to 9.3 a week or two ago.

a few days ago, I installed the booking.com app while helping my wife book a trip.

for a couple days, I have had problems with Safari not opening links (perhaps intermittently, but now always)

I just looked online to see that this is a current problem, and may be linked to the booking.com app

I just tried to delete the booking.com app - pressing and holding - it fades and vibrates, then goes back to normal.

At least some of the other downloaded apps still act normally - fades and gets the X.

What is going on, and how do I delete this SOB?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3

The issue is with iOS 9.3 itself. You'll need to wait for Apple to release a fix.

so i need to wait for apple to update before I can delete an app that I unfortuneately downloaded??

there is no way to force a delete?

I know that the Safari malfunctioning needs Apple's touch, but I still want to delete this app ASAP - I don't like apps that try to keep me from getting rid of them....

Have you tried deleting the app by connecting the iPad to your computer's iTunes and using the screen mock-ups on its Apps tab ?

It being a phone shouldn't make any difference, if you go onto the Phone's Apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, find the mockup of the home screen (or app folder) that the app is and tap on and double-click on it, the screen should enlarge (it does on my Mac's iTunes), and hovering my nouse pointer over a downloaded app gives an 'x' on its top right corner - whether it will work for that app I don't know

And thank you - I am rid of the booking.com app.

Still have the safari problems, but I can work around them.
