Q: When someone blocks you or puts you on Do Not Disturb do iMessages send as normal just not get delivered?

My BF & I got into an argument & now when I try to text him my texts turn from blue to green. Is this an indication of being blocked or on Do Not Disturb? Thanks for y'alls help!

    okay I understand now! I've always been on iOS 8 & when he's blocked me before when we got in arguments my iMessage still looked as normal so I was just curious as to why it was looking different

    Again, nothing you've described gives any indication of whether or not you've been blocked.

    I'm saying you can't tell. He may have blocked you. He may have run off with someone he met in the supermarket checkout line and be out of data coverage. Your issue is not a technological one. Send him flowers, write a letter, have a mutual friend talk to him. Apologized and make up. Or break up and move on.
