Windows 10 crashing after 2-10 minutes

So I've recently been having issues with my 2012 15" MBPr.

A little background info:

I had Windows 10 installed with no problems for months, until I got a battery issue and sent it into Apple to repair. I was told to backup all my data as they would have to replace the entire bottom shell of my laptop, and so thats what I did. I used Winclone to backup my windows partition and made a separate copy of all my windows files as well (just in case Winclone went wrong) and then removed the windows partition (Its a long story but I essentially didn't have room on my hard drive and any external hard drives to back up windows AND mac easily so I had to backup windows, delete the partition, then backup mac (it was really weird, like that riddle about crossing the river with a rabbit, a cabbage and a wolf... having to bounce my files around from laptop to external hard drive until I had everything safely on the other side of the river). I then sent off my laptop and a few weeks later (yes, weeks... they quoted me just a few days, 5 at max, but it took forever).

Anyway, with my laptop back in my hands I noticed that my data was all still there! Oh well, I guess I removed my windows partition and spent hours stressing over making sure all my data was safe for no godd*mn reason... thanks Apple! So I cleaned the h*ll out of my mac and repartitioned and installed windows 10, I then used Winclone to restore all my windows data, but for some reason it didn't work... GREAT.

Luckily I had all the raw files from windows anyway (I simply copy pasted all the windows root files onto my LaCie so everything was nice and safe) so I ended up selecting the files I needed (documents, photos, games etc) and transferred them back. Everything was working nicely, I had all my files back on windows and there seemed to be no issues with anything.

Now for the problem:

A few days went by when suddenly my laptop (on windows) crashed... no warning... no blue screen... no graphical screen problems... nothing. It just went black. After a few seconds of staring at the screen I heard the mac boot up sound so waited for something to happen... nothing. Thinking that it had simply crashed again before it could show me the Apple logo, I hard reset it, then turned it on again. I heard the boot sound, but again nothing else happened. I did this about 6 or 7 times before the Apple logo showed up and it booted into OS X absolutely fine. I left it for about 4 hours expecting it to crash again but it didn't. It acted like nothing had even happened. Until I booted into windows.

This time it barely lasted 30 seconds, going black before I could even log in. Again, it would seem to restart but nothing would happen... then (after a good hour of this happening and me getting very frustrated) I noticed something... when it crashes, the screen goes dead. Not black. Dead, as in OFF. But then it boots up with the Apple sound still with the screen off... strange. I waited and, as I was in a low-lit room, I noticed the keyboard backlight was on. Weird... so I tried logging in... IT WORKED. I couldn't see anything, but I could hear it working (yes I tried turning the brightness up). I know my way around my laptop so I was able to actually play some music from iTunes to confirm everything else was working as it should. So apparently when it crashes it restarts perfectly normal, expect the screen is no longer getting power. I tried plugging in an HDMI cable once logged in but that didn't work... TV says theres no output coming from my laptop.

After scouring the web and finding NO ONE with this same issue, performing 10's of different virus scans, removing and clean installing windows about 12 times it still seems to happen... I thought I had fixed it yesterday, I was able to stay logged on for over 24 hours without it crashing (just idle, not doing anything) so I booted up Crysis 2 (the reason I've been trying to fix this is to play this d*mn sexy game again...). After about 10 minutes guess what happens? Yup. It crashes.

Well at least its lasting longer now... so I am able to experiment with what causes the crash. What I've discovered (I think) is that when I uninstall the NVIDIA drivers for my graphics card, essentially disabling it, everything seems to work alright... I can browse the web for hours on end with no problems. But as soon as I install ANY driver (yes I've tried older ones, even some from 2014) the crashes begin to occur.

I don't know if its a software problem or hardware problem, or if someone at Apple damaged my graphics card while fixing my laptop, but can someone help shed some light on the situation? I seem to have managed to light a candle of light... but what I really need to fix it permanently is a f***ing floodlight.

Help. Please. Before I drive myself insane.

If you had El Capitan at the time of restore, did you disable SIP, before the restore? What is/was the version of Winclone used?

This is not a valid method of re-installing Windows. There are several 'hidden' structures that are unlikely to be on the disk. This is the root cause of most of your issues.

This is problematic. The HDMI does not work, because your nVidia driver is no longer working. If OS X functions normally, the issue seems to be your W10 installation. When you remove nVIdia, can you check which GPU/driver is in use. If the problem was your battery, the bottom shell does not need to be touched, but just the battery. If you have a Logic Board issue, then you essentially get a new Mac. The 2012 macs are a strange beast, because they are sold even now with El Capitan (13-in). Please see OS X versions and builds included with Mac computers - Apple Support . If you have installed W10 12+ times, did any of these attempts wiping the entire disk and a re-installation of OS X and Windows, both?
