Burn problems from iMovie

I burned my iMovie to a 16x dvd-r disc. It did put the movie on it. I did burn it at 4x speed. When playing it back on my dvd player that is with my tv it plays with a skip on the pics only that i have Ken burns effects to when i was editing. Still pics that were not Ken Burns play fine through the movie why is this?

Try saving the video to a disc image, and see if the disc image plays it correctly. If it does, then the encoding worked fine, and the problem could be with

your dvd player. In that event, try playing the DVD on another DVD player, or on your computer and see what results you get.
