Q: iPad turned off in hot summer car...
Assuming that I am NOT using the iPad mini when it is in excessive summer hot car temps, is it still literally damaging to the device even if not turned on at all when in the heated car temps, or is it only damaging when trying to operate the unit in the excessive temps? Thanks for feedback.

It appears heat can cause damage even when your iPad isn't in use.
