Clearing Apple Music cache?

I recently bought a new iPhone 6s 16GB and I started with around 8-10GBs free. I subscribed to the 3-month free trial for Apple Music and I am really enjoying it. However, the cache on this is terrible and my storage has gone down to 1.2GB free. I've looked online and I have tried to turn off and on the iTunes cloud share and then hard resetting it. I've also tried to download an app that clears the cache but it still isn't increasing. I've also logged out of Apple Music and then back in - nothing changed. So I've permanently logged out and reset my phone but still nothing has changed.

I really would like a way to increase my storage because I have 1.7GB of pictures on my phone and around 10 apps that are all under 100Mb when their cache are cleared and so I should have much more storage than I do. It's especially annoying since I bought this phone last Friday. Any ideas on what I can do? 😟 I can only think of factory resetting my phone which would be an option but I would like to hear any suggestions? Thank you!! 😀

Try this it may help you !!!

Disable the iCloud Music Library and open the Music app so that it can delete the cached files and/or release that storage to iOS to clear when needed.

  1. Settings>Music: Turn off iCloud Music Library
  2. Open Music app: Your library should start to clear
  3. Settings>Music: Turn on iCloud Music Library
  4. Open Music app: Your library will be rebuilt

I have the same issue. I tried to resolve by deleting Music app. It seems like it uses a cache to store files in order to be up to user when they try to navigate through pre-opened music.I know this may not be a solution but just a workaround to clear iCloud Music Library cache on your phone.

If you could please provide feedback it would be nice, as well as I will do because I mind that Music app management must be more effective. I think that the bigger your library is the more space will be used.
