Are Beats Wireless headphones compatible with imac?

I have a late 2013 2.9 ghz 21.5 inch imac. I wan't to pair wireless headphones via blu-tooth to my imac. The current Beats Studio Wireless headphones listed in the apple store website as of 3-30-2016, list's the compatibility's with only : iphones, ipads, ipods, and an apple tv. My questions is if I purchase the Beats wireless headphones (matte black), will i be able to connect to my imac via blue tooth? OSX El Capitan Version 10.11.3 I currently use Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Wireless Rage that worked perfect via a USB drive in the back of my imac, along with software I had to download on the Sound Blaster website.

Hi G-KRUD,

You can pair Bluetooth headphones to your Mac, which includes Beats Studio Wireless headphones.

OS X El Capitan: Use a Bluetooth headset with your Mac

Use a Bluetooth enabled headset to wirelessly hear and input audio. After you pair your Mac with the headset and select it as your sound input and output device, it acts as your computer’s microphone and speakers.

See the documentation that came with your headset to pair it with your Mac.

After you pair your headset with your Mac, click the Bluetooth status icon in the menu bar, choose the headset you want to use, then choose Connect. The headset is automatically used as the sound output device for your computer.

If the Bluetooth status icon isn’t visible, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Bluetooth, then select “Show Bluetooth in menu bar.”

To manually initiate pairing mode, press and hold the b button for 2 seconds.

Basically, initiate the pairing on the headphones then select it in the Mac Bluetooth System Preference and pair it.

Best regards.
