10.7.5 startup problem macpro 2.1

Question

Since i upgrade my OS to 10.7.5 my computer has begin behaving strangely .Usually then i turn it on it works fine for about 3 minutes then it freezes anda message appears telling me to restart it.Then i have to restart it 3  to 5 times beforeit finally works . After that procedure it work fine all day long .. Some times the problem doesn´t occur for 2 weeks and some times every day .I have have tried different thing´s to try to solve the problem :Repaired disc permission several timesI have runed a extended hardware test in loop mode but never found any thing wrong -Does any one know how to solve this problem ?Here is my spec´s:Model Name: Mac ProModel Name: Mac Pro  Model Identifier: MacP

You should have posted it in the MacPro forum or possibly the Lion forum.  I requested once it be relocated and the hosts moved it to the iMac forum. 😠  I can only report a post once so hopefully somebody else can report this and get it moved to the correct place.Something as sporadic as every 2 weeks can be hard to track down.  It may take somebody who is good at reading your kernel panic logs.  You ran a hardware test but you can generally only rely upon that when it reports a problem, not when it does not.  It could also be exotic. I used to get kernel panics every couple of days in a G4 from running a flashed video card. No rhyme or reason why it happened at specific times, it just did.  You could have bad RAM and testing that requires removing chips one by one and running without them until you find you are no longer having problems when you don&#x27;t run with that particular one.I see you mention upgrading. I presume this was the OS upgrade to OSX 10.7.  It is possible one of your third party plugins is outdated and causing this.  If there are some you do not need regularly I would recommend removing them and seeing if that clears up the issue.  Make sure others are updated to your OS version.
