Q: 2015 Macbook Retina chimes twice at startup
Every time I start up my 2015 MacBook Retina, the startup chime and accompanying progress bar occurs twice. However, unlike other posters, I do not have to enter my login twice. I only see the login screen the second time, and the MacBook operates normally after that.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is this "the new normal"?
Currently using a Minix NEO-C, but the double-chime happened before I purchased this equipment. (Incidentally, could the double-chime be related to the NEO-C not recognizing the LAN until the machine is restarted? The LAN - and only the LAN on the NEO-C doesn't appear to be "hot-discoverable", though mfr says it should be. Currently in talks with mfr about this. Just wondering if the dual-chime was related to the LAN not being hot-discoverable...)
Currently running 10.11.4. This machine was previously running with the Public Beta program. I think I noticed the "double chime" happening after ElCap was out.
MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)
