Configurator 2 - Supervised Devices

I'm trying to use configurator to supervise 5 iPhone at work. We aren't using MDM. Ive set up a blueprint and profile and able to prepare the device and make sure its set to supervise.

Once I prepare the device and it resets, its as I want.

I can't tell if its the profile I am installing, or signing into the iTunes account and enabling find my iPhone, but one of these steps wipes out the supervision and those settings are no longer there.

Any ideas?
