Connect to iTunes

i have just opened my new iphone 6s. I backed up my previous phone to iTunes and then connected the new phone to transfer my data. Everything was going fine and then all of a sudden my new iPhone has froze on the connect to iTunes screen, I have researched this and I have tried both uploading and restoring the iPhone and and error message appears, (-39) Unknown error. Can anyone please help me, I do not have a apple shop near by my home it's a fair distance away. i have also tried resetting my iphone by holding down the home and sleep button, the Apple icon does appear how ever after it disappears the connect to iTunes screen reappears, I cannot bypass this. Please help!!!

I don't see an error 39 in the Apple support document Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support


you can try this If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

I Have tried both these options to try and resolve this, tried to both update and then restore and I still recieve the same error message. I could not find any error of this error either. It says 'unknown error (-39) check network connections' there are no problems with my network settings. I think I will have to return the phone or Travel to visit Apple direct 😟
