Q: Will IOS 9.3.1 override 9.3 before I update?
I Have 9.3 update message in my iPad2 which thankfully I have not updated due to its problems. I am still using 9.2.1
With the new 9.3.1 now released is someone able to tell me if the previous 9.3 update advice is removed by Apple and replaced by the later version. obviously I don't want to update 9.3 simply as it is next inline, if this cannot be done do I need to jump 9.3.1 by going to I tunes. Thanks
iPad 2, iOS 9.2.1, null

Only the newest iOS will be installed. Since iOS 9.3.1 is newer than iOS 9.3, 9.3.1 is the iOS that will be installed. You will have no choice.
To be sure the newest update is in fact installed (assuming you mean the iOS 9.3 update is already downloaded on your device), delete that update file under
Settings/General/Storage & iCloud Usage/Manage Storage. Now find the iOS 9.3 update app, tap on the app, then tap on Delete App.
Now go back to Settings/General/Software Update and the new iOS 9.3.1 file will be found & downloaded to your device. Update after the download has completed.
